Established in 1992, we have grown to become Vivid Floral Design… After being inspired by attending the local flower club with her Mum from the age of 9, Amanda went on to study at The Welsh College of Horticulture, which included an amazing placement in Jersey. On completing college Amanda’s parents helped her start up her business in an outbuilding on their farm and that is where Farmhouse Flowers was born, specialising in wedding  and funeral flowers … In 2004 after a trip to a trade show Amanda was inspired to expand and open a shop to be able to provide flowers for all occasions and corporate clients, this resulted in the purchase of Greens N Things in Gresford, where business bloomed and continued to expand, it was in 2013 that we re-branded to Vivid Floral Design ready for the next stage as we had outgrown our premises… In 2014 after a year-long renovation we re-located just 2 miles away to 112 Chester Rd, Acton, Wrexham, to much larger premises and continued to grow. We are very proud to be the preferred supplier to many of the area’s premier hotels and event venues with events including Chester Races, Cholmondley Pageant of Power, Locomotive services (steam trains) to name a few and we have gained a reputation for excellence in proving floral services to the local business and corporate sectors, whilst also maintaining a personal service to our valued retail clientele. Every member of the Vivid team love what they do and have a real passion to provide the highest quality floral designs and first class customer service. We use only the highest quality blooms and also have a beautiful selection of giftware, some of which can be ordered online, but we still love to welcome you in store to view our full range of blooms, cards, balloons and giftware. You can be assured of the highest quality fresh flowers specifically sourced to meet our exacting standards. Each floral design is handmade, created by one of our highly experienced qualified florists. All the bouquets and arrangements are freshly made to your individual order, for either delivery or collection in person. Creating a bouquet or contemporary hand tied arrangement of beautiful flowers for any occasion are designed and created by us with the customer’s favourite colours in mind. Be it a design centred around mother’s day, valentine’s, a wedding, an anniversary or any other special occasion. We have to prepare the flowers first of all. We take the flowers and prepare them in such a way that the natural beauty of the flowers is incorporated into a natural bouquet of beauty. Our flowers are delivered fresh every morning. However, there are instances that the flowers are so fresh, they have to be matured for several days that they can start to open and the customer then receives a beautiful bouquet which will evolve and mature into a beautiful tribute. The art of being a good florist is almost like a science. The flowers have to be delivered so they are beautiful but will become more beautiful and last for several weeks.

Flowers With Passion is run by professional award-winning florist Sara Barrow. Sara can provide flowers for all occasions – bouquets, weddings, funerals, events and contract work. Sara is absolutely passionate about flowers and is highly skilled in both traditional and contemporary floral design. Sara’s magic with flowers has gained her many accolades including: RHS Tatton 2015 – Gold Medal – part of a team representing the North West Area of NAFAS with their exhibit “Carnival” RHS Chelsea 2014 – Gold Medal – UK Florist of the Year Southport Flower Show – Best in the Contemporary Floral Design Marquee RHS Chelsea 2011 – Silver Medal – UK florist of the Year.

All part of our mission to bring you fresh, seasonal flowers the way nature intended so we can support British growers, help local businesses and reduce the carbon footprint and environmental impact of the flower industry. We design exclusively with seasonal blooms, capturing the essence of the moment to celebrate every occasion. 95% of the flowers and foliage’s used to create our seasonally unique designs are sourced from local flower farmers within a 40mile radius of Evolves Studio in Pinchbeck, Spalding, the other 5% arrive from Norfolk, Cornwall, Jersey, the Scillies and Ireland.
