Flowers and Foliage was in established in 1999 and is located in the beautiful village of Rothbury in Northumberland. We use fresh flowers which are delivered at least 4 days a week from Holland and we also support English Flower Growers where possible. As well as flowers we have a large selection of seasonal plants for both indoors and outdoors. Our shop also includes a well established gift selection, which includes local artist cards and limited edition prints.

Established in 1992, we have grown to become Vivid Floral Design… After being inspired by attending the local flower club with her Mum from the age of 9, Amanda went on to study at The Welsh College of Horticulture, which included an amazing placement in Jersey. On completing college Amanda’s parents helped her start up her business in an outbuilding on their farm and that is where Farmhouse Flowers was born, specialising in wedding  and funeral flowers … In 2004 after a trip to a trade show Amanda was inspired to expand and open a shop to be able to provide flowers for all occasions and corporate clients, this resulted in the purchase of Greens N Things in Gresford, where business bloomed and continued to expand, it was in 2013 that we re-branded to Vivid Floral Design ready for the next stage as we had outgrown our premises… In 2014 after a year-long renovation we re-located just 2 miles away to 112 Chester Rd, Acton, Wrexham, to much larger premises and continued to grow. We are very proud to be the preferred supplier to many of the area’s premier hotels and event venues with events including Chester Races, Cholmondley Pageant of Power, Locomotive services (steam trains) to name a few and we have gained a reputation for excellence in proving floral services to the local business and corporate sectors, whilst also maintaining a personal service to our valued retail clientele. Every member of the Vivid team love what they do and have a real passion to provide the highest quality floral designs and first class customer service. We use only the highest quality blooms and also have a beautiful selection of giftware, some of which can be ordered online, but we still love to welcome you in store to view our full range of blooms, cards, balloons and giftware. You can be assured of the highest quality fresh flowers specifically sourced to meet our exacting standards. Each floral design is handmade, created by one of our highly experienced qualified florists. All the bouquets and arrangements are freshly made to your individual order, for either delivery or collection in person. From our shop at the top of the historic market town of Biggar in South Lanarkshire, we offer a friendly, personal service with the professional touch you would expect from a good florist. We supply flowers and plants, creating imaginative arrangements in bouquets, baskets and vases, with the same flair and attention to detail whether your flowers are intended to mark an occasion – wedding, anniversary, new baby, Valentine’s , Mother’s Day, Christmas, Easter – or simply to let someone know you care. Wrapped or packaged with care so they arrive in perfect condition, our flowers and plants can be hand-delivered to Biggar and the surrounding villages of Coulter, Symington and Skirling. Open Monday to Saturday (early closing weds afternoon), Sundays by prior appointment.
