Our ethos here at The Little Flowermonger is very simple; to focus on eco-friendliness and sustainability with the products that we source and sell to their customers. Sustainability trickles down to nearly every aspect of our business. Our wrapping, ribbon, moss, foam, glitter, cellophane … even our pens and pencils are all biodegradable. In fact The Little Flowermonger stems from over 25-year experience that our owner and head Florist Jacqui has gathered within the industry. This passion for all things green started in childhood when old enough Jacqui took up floristry and horticultural studies ensuring that she had near-perfect of knowledge of flowers, serving her time as an apprentice she learnt how the industry truly worked and where she continued to hone her skill from some of the best, moving onto freelance work for some of the most renowned florists in the country. Latterly opening her own doors and having numerous, flourishing reviews from the likes of the ‘The Daily Telegraph’, The Florist, working with Film companies, Musicians, fashion industry, Newspapers, and publishing houses for books and magazines. We love all aspects of flowers, their appearance, colours, smell and even down to how they change with time. We feel flowers can tell so many stories and can so be personal to each of us. We believe flowers should evoke every sense and British flowers tick all the boxes. We are so proud to say we are giving them their rightful podium to showcase and help lower our Carbon Footprint which is a massive bonus. We offer our customers a range of high-quality floral bouquets and arrangements for any and all events with an extra effort being made to source the best of British grown flowers and foliage wherever possible. This is why we are closed on Monday to search for new growers and suppliers. Our goal can be seen through the other products that we have on offer such as; recycled Candles, gifts and glassware, and we are always on the search for more. “We are always on the lookout for the latest and best products. Flowers by Nattrass is a small and friendly family run florist based in the North East of England. We were founded back in 1959 by Ronnie Nattrass, and now his daughter Sally, her husband Mark and their daughters, Katie and Amy, run the business. We specialise in delivering the best quality flower gift bouquets. Being independent gives us the freedom to choose our suppliers, the type of flowers we use and the way in which we use them. No compromises, no shortcuts. If your floral gift is to be delivered locally to Darlington, we’ll deliver it personally. If it’s slightly further afield, our courier company makes sure your flowers are delivered on time. All our staff are of NVQ level 3 or higher when it comes to floristry skill, a standard we are proud to uphold.
